Tiffy and Leon have never met…

Tiffy Moore needs a cheap flat, and fast. Leon Twomey works nights and needs cash. Their friends think they’re crazy, but it’s the perfect solution: Leon occupies the one-bed flat while Tiffy’s at work in the day, and she has the run of the place the rest of the time.

But with obsessive ex-boyfriends, demanding clients at work, wrongly imprisoned brothers and, of course, the fact that they still haven’t met yet, they’re about to discover that if you want the perfect home you need to throw the rulebook out the window…

REVIEW:

To be honest I am not entirely sure how I got this book.  I think it is possible that I bought it one day from Amazon as an e-book on one of their bestselling book sales that they occasionally have.  I am a self-confessed Anglophile and with this book being set in London I was immediately sold.  Plus it being a romance helped as well.  I think I set in my kindle for a good few months or so before I decided to read it.

Tiffy is a craft book editor and is a DIY’er herself.  After getting out of a bad relationship she has been looking for a new place to live instead of crashing at her ex’s place since he never stays there.  She finds a flatshare advert in a newspaper for a one-bedroom apartment.  The roommate works nights and is gone on the weekends so it was perfect.  What she didn’t plan on was falling for her flatmate.  This book is so cute.  I loved how they started by just leaving little notes for each other.  Then it just progressed from there.  The thing is that Leon the love interest had a girlfriend at the beginning of the book and she dumps him along the way.  Tiffy accidentally walks in on him in the shower after that and I think that just jump-started the whole romance.

This book I think has a slight “thriller” side to it.  Tiffy’s ex-boyfriend stalks her throughout the entire book.  Popping up at the most random times and it all cumulates at the end of the book in an explosive manner.  It kept me guessing as to where he is going to show up next.  I loved all of her friends.  She had the uptight friend, the “wild” friend, and the friend who you can tell all of your problems too because he is a therapist. For a romance it is a clean one, they do sleep with each other but it isn’t anything over the top or extremely graphic.  I just loved this whole book I am honestly at a loss for words.  I didn’t want the book to end….maybe we can get a sequel.  I have already gone to Amazon and added another book by the author to my wish list!!  Hopefully, I can get it soon.
