The Similars by Rebecca Hanover
While this book doesn’t technically release until January 1st, I read it in December as an early release copy. This is a definite must read for anyone wanting a fantastic YA Fiction novel that leans heavily on mystery and suspense, but also touches on romance and some science fiction twisted in. Rebecca Hanover nailed it on all aspects of this novel and this novel made me a fan of her writing. I’ll be checking out more from her, and this is why I recommend it!

One Small Thing by Erin Watt
This novel was centered around second chances and hard decisions. This may not sound like a light, fun read, but that’s exactly why it made my top books. I love books with a bit of grit. I want to read stories about people going through real life scenarios and hard situations and learning to come out of them. This story had all that and a great romance tied in. A great, fully entertaining read for anyone.

Look For Me by Lisa Gardner
If you’ve been following me or #NerdProblems, you will know I LOVE Lisa Gardner. I have never read a book by her I didn’t like. She is top of her game for a reason and Look For Me was just another piece of proof she deserves the title Queen of Suspense! Look For Me brought back characters we all loved from previous books, but you don’t have to have read them to understand this novel. This book gets down and dirty with mystery, murder, thrills, and jam packed with suspense. A must read for anyone who loves Mystery Thrillers or for anyone wanting to dip their toes in!

Consumed by J.R. Ward
I had never read a J.R. Ward book before, but I have a thing for fire fighters and one of my best friends swears J.R. Ward is one of the best writers. So, I picked this up and I was so glad! Consumed is a romance, but it has so much action in it. I promise anyone who picks up this book is going to love it. And best part? It’s going to be a series! This is just book one in the fire fighter series. I cannot wait for more.
