SYNOPSIS: (From Goodreads)

It’s not easy being half-mortal, half-witch. At least, not for Sabrina Spellman. She just discovered that her dad is Satan… and that it’s her destiny to rule Hell.

As usual, Sabrina’s got other plans for her future. She’s figured out a way to trap her father… but he’s caged in the body of her boyfriend, Nick Scratch. Now the love of her life is stuck in Hell… with Satan stuck inside him.

Sabrina knows there’s a way to get Nick back while also keeping dear old dad out of commission. She just has to figure out what it is. Unfortunately, her loyal cousin Ambrose is unavailable because he’s off hunting Father Blackwood, the evil former head of the Church of Night.

Fortunately, Sabrina’s still got her mortal friends, Roz, Harvey, and Theo. So when her aunt Zelda, now the church’s high priestess, mentions an ancient quest that might help open the gates of Hell, Sabrina and her friends are all in. But Zelda failed to mention that the quest has some perils of its own…

REVIEW:

I was so excited to finish the final book in the series.  I was even more excited to have finished the end of the TV show as well.  That has been sitting in my queue to watch since it finished in 2020.  That is an embarrassing thing to admit…what can I say I have three kids and between them, the pandemic, school, and everything in between my shows are backlogged horribly.

Sabrina along with her friends are on a mission.  A mission to save Nick Scratch from the pits of hell where he was tossed. But before she can rescue him she and her band of friends must complete a task from the Lady of the Lake. Each person is given something they must retrieve. From a feather cloak to the Holy Grail.  Will Sabrina and her friends make it?  Ok as this series has gone on it has gotten less and less of a star rating from me.  When this one ended I think I threw my phone and uttered a few choice words to the author.  I couldn’t believe that she would end the series on that cliffhanger, and if my Google searches are accurate there is no 4th book to wrap everything up in a nice bow,

I once again listened to this book, since sometimes that is a lot easier for me given how much time I spend driving vehicles.  I was rather peeved with Nick half the book he seemed a little wimpy to me and kept doubting Sabrina and her love for him.  When she has shown him nothing but love and given him no reason to think otherwise, I know sometimes we see things that we think are true but when you are in hell and being tortured so to speak do you think they will show you the truth?  Don’t get me wrong the storyline was still good. There was just something lacking.  She started strong with the first book and lost steam by the end of the last.  Believe me, the ending to the TV show also had me yelling and shouting at it, so maybe that is just how the stories needed to be wrapped up.  I will certainly be keeping my eye out for a 4th installment, if one comes I will be right there to get it.
