SYNOPSIS: (From Goodreads)

Natalie, a young art student in New York City, is struggling to pay her bills when a friend makes a suggestion: Why not go online and find a sugar daddy—a wealthy, older man who will pay her for dates, and even give her a monthly allowance? Lots of girls do it, Nat learns. All that’s required is to look pretty and hang on his every word. Sexual favours are optional.

Though more than thirty years her senior, Gabe, a handsome corporate finance attorney, seems like the perfect candidate, and within a month, they are madly in love. At least, Nat is…Gabe already has a family, whom he has no intention of leaving.

So when he abruptly ends things, Nat can’t let go. She begins drinking heavily and stalking him: watching him at work, spying on his wife, even befriending his daughter, who is not much younger than she is. But Gabe’s not about to let his sugar baby destroy his perfect life. What was supposed to be a mutually beneficial arrangement devolves into a nightmare of deception, obsession, and, when a body is found near Gabe’s posh Upper East Side apartment, murder.

REVIEW:

**A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

The Arrangement sounded like something I could definitely get into with a secret affair going wrong. Sounded like lots of suspense and lots of thrills and I was not disappointed.

Robyn Harding tells a story of one woman getting in far too deep with a married man and not liking the options she was given at the end. I love the build to the highest intensity moments for this story. Harding does a great job showing the growing frustrations Nat has boiling inside of her. I think it is intriguing to most to look at this type of relationship and read about it because we’ve all wondered what it would be like. It’s safe to say that Harding wrote a story that makes me definitely question even being curious about such a relationship anymore. Both Nat and Gabe are crazy.

The only thing I found slightly lacking was the beginning of the story. I felt it was a slow pick up, but once it did get going it was great. I found the arrangement to be intriguing, suspenseful, horrifying, and just plain interesting, keeping me flipping the pages. Definitely a must read for all suspense/thriller lovers.

STAR RATING: 4/5
