SYNOPSIS: (From Amazon)

Jimmy: Three months. That’s it. Do the stupid legacy tour with my bastard brother and pick up the check at the finish line. That’s not so hard when you think about it in it’s simplest form. I just have to focus on the end goal and stop worrying about everything around me. You know, like getting caught sleeping with my band’s bassist, or rather, my best friend’s boyfriend. Stuck on a tour bus with all of them, what could go wrong?

Dallas: Stuck with the ice queen for the summer. Joy. My twin sister is hiding something. I know her better than she knows herself, but she can’t keep whatever she’s lying about to herself forever. I have to stop obsessing over it. Maybe I can make this tour a little more interesting. You know what? We’ve been looking for someone to play with us for the tour. I think I may have just the person. What do they call him again? Oh yeah, GP. Guilty. Pleasure.

Jimmy is determined to get through this tour with her head and heart in tact. As long as she focuses on the music she can avoid any drama that she may or may not be the root of. She’ll figure it out afterwards. Simple, right? That was the plan anyways. She wasn’t prepared for her brother’s new bandmate. His jade eyes and tattoos for days are hard to resist. It’s almost as if he was designed just for her. A little guilty pleasure fun won’t hurt, will it?

REVIEW:

**A copy of this book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.**

I am embarrassed to admit that the editor to this book sent me the book months ago.  It sat in my email all that time until I was ready to read it.  I had other books in front that took precedence, I should have made more room for it.  I loved the other series that the author written and was hoping that the same could be said for this series.

Jimmy Andrews is the daughter of Ethan and Chloe who are the main characters of the Missing You, Missing Me series.  She is living in her parent’s shadow and really wants to break out on her own.  We follow her epic journey through the tour of her band.  She tries to find her own way.  While I enjoyed this book, I was annoyed with Jimmy the entire way.  She made one bad decision after another.  I spent the entire novel doing the will she won’t she dance.  I wanted her to end up with one love interest just to find her going back to the other one.  I really just wanted to reach through the book and smack her across the head.

I was annoyed with her best friend T who has a severe drug addiction, or at least in my mind she does.  I did enjoy the book but the 3 stars was because I couldn’t tolerate some of the storylines, it just drove me nuts.  While I was happy to see how Ethan and Chole’s kids turned out, I was left with big gaping holes in the book.  The fact that the story ended in a massive cliffhanger was a negative for me.  It left me making up and ending for it.  I really hope that the author covers it in the next story.  Don’t get me wrong I made a bunch of negative comments but I truly did like this book.  I never knew what was coming next.  I can’t wait to find out was next in the series.  I hope that it is something good.

STAR RATING: 3/5
