Man, oh man. I rounded 2021 off with a grand total of 65 books read. Four of those books are ones that I read aloud to my kids. We recently started the Harry Potter series and are currently reading book 4. Anywho, all the books that I have put in my top 10 are there because they were absolutely amazing and I couldn’t put it down or because they spoke to me on a much deeper level. So far this winter has been a slight struggle mentally for me. My daughter was quarantined for COVID exposure at school, I broke my finger and the Christmas that I had planned with my family got canceled because they were exposed to COVID. So reading is a way for me to decompress and relieve that anxiety over everything. I have started the year off well with 1.5 books read already. Can’t wait to see what this year brings in the book category.
