And never stop loving me between all of them.
Never stop, Charlie.
Never forget.”

Silas races against time as more truths unravel, while others twist tighter together. And now, the stakes are higher as Silas’ control slips and others begin to point fingers. Charlie is in trouble and he must be the one to bridge the chasm between their past and their present. Because somewhere between I love yous and Never Nevers and Never Agains, a truth they can’t imagine, beckons to be found.

REVIEW:
Back in February I posted a review of Colleen Hoover’s and Tarryn Fisher’s book “Never Never, part 1”. I was surprised when reaching the end of the book to find it was only a part 1. I was, however, happy to find the second part was coming out in May. Excited to jump into the remainder of this story between Silas and Charlie, I eagerly started reading “Never Never, part 2”.

Hoover and Fisher maintained the air of mystery going into part two of “Never Never”. I love the story between Silas and Charlie and was eager to read more about (SPOILER) where Charlie had disappeared to. I was happily surprised with the twists that followed. The plot thickened while Silas slowly started to unravel some of the original questions that had arose during part 1 of the story. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with how short this portion of the story seemed, and even more disappointed to find the story ended on yet another “to be continued”. While I can understand the idea behind breaking this up into three parts, part two wasn’t sufficient enough to stand on its own. While Silas started to unravel some questions from part 1, even more questions arose from part 2 and left me, as a reader, hanging in frustration instead of excitement for what is to come. The short story line and hanging ending made it a bit harder to enjoy this part as much as I enjoyed part one.

The story has the same great characters, but far less interaction with most of them and concentrates more on the details of the story rather than introducing all the characters. I don’t want to discourage anyone from reading these books. Hoover is one of my favorite authors and has an array of great stories under her belt. This one simply felt short for me. I look forward to more work from Hoover and Fisher and will most likely reading the final installment for the “Never Never” series.
