#WhatToWatch: Madam Secretary

This year seems to be overcome with new shows that are hitting our TV’s and with limited space on the DVR I present to you the second article in our What to Watch series…

Madam-Secretary-Poster-Saison1We’ve been exposed to White House dramas in the past, some of them amazing (The West Wing) and some of them not so amazing (those shall remain nameless… you know who you are). So when I decided to DVR this particular drama I had very low expectations, despite my love for Tea Leoni and Tim Daly! I was pleasantly surprised that this show is witty, real, and works current events into an entertaining format that can definitely teach people something while they watch (the teacher side of me is crying for joy)! If you were one of the millions of people who could not get enough of ‘The West Wing’ then I suspect you will definitely enjoy this show. Tea Leoni is superb as ex-CIA and now the Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord and her husband Tim Daly plays are loveable ex-Military turned Professor of Religion Henry McCord… They are basically the best couple in the world and could definitely be President and First Man! The group of staffers really help give the show that needed comic relief, the chemistry between Nadine Tolliver (Bebe Neuwirth), Matt Mahoney (Geoffrey Arend), Daisy Grant (Patina Miller) and Blake Moran (Erich Bergen) is perfection you rarely see in a new show.

The end of the story is check out ‘Madame Secretary’ Sunday nights on CBS… You won’t be disappointed!
